The 1st of February I held the first SteamLUG Game Night, which I must say was an overall success. I seriously didn’t expect such a large turnout at all.
It was really nice to see so many join for such a long session - some of us played for almost 4 hours!
Before we launched the session I put out a survey, regarding future Game Nights, and by the looks of it; we will be having a Game Night every fortnight, and maybe every week. And a lot of players seems hooked on Killing Floor, Counter-Strike, Half-Life and/or Team Fortress 2, which is to be expected I guess.
I hope that future events will not only be FPS games, but RTS, adventure and what not (when they’re available on Steam) - I want everyone to feel they are welcome, and not only FPS players.
